Murrysville Parks and Nature Reserves

Over the years, the residents of the Municipality of Murrysville (MOM) have committed significant funds to provide excellent parks, and to preserve open spaces. MOM offers a wide variety of public and private park and recreation facilities. Over 1,300 acres of MOM owned community parks, neighborhood parks and open space provide numerous sports fields,  and areas for enjoying nature while protecting environmental quality.

The Westmoreland Conservancy (WC) has acquired 251 acres to preserve the natural environment for the enjoyment of the public.

Volunteers have spent many thousands of hours over the years to improve and maintain the parks, reserves, and open spaces while saving taxpayer's money.
